Betterley Guide Gripp

Includes one Guide Gripp.

*Grabo not included.

The ultimate guide rail clamp.
Easily mounts to either side of the Grabo Nemo or Pro-Lifter.
Installation or removal from the Grabo takes less than a minute - but the Betterley Guide Grip can remain attached while utilizing the Grabo as a lifting devise.
Fastens at any point on the guide rail – no more concerns about the guide rail flexing on long cuts.
Will not distort or tip the guide rail when clamping – dead-on accuracy even when cutting bevels.
Precision CNC machined components provide rock-solid clamping and lifetime durability.
Securely holds guide rail on a horizontal or vertical surface.
Uses vacuum to clamp the guide rail in place on the surface of the material – no access to the back side of material required.

Compatible with Festool TS55 & TS75*, Makita, Kreg, Triton guide rails.

Simple Operation

Fasten the Guide Gripp to your Grabo.
Place the guide rail Gripp Adapter on your guide rail and fasten in place.
Position the guide rail on material.
Place Guide Gripp on adapter and turn on Grabo. The guide rail will not shift or move during clamping and is ready for use.

In some instances, such as cutting on vertical surfaces, it is convenient to keep the Guide Gripp attached to the guide rail. The Guide Gripp can be quickly attached to the Gripp adapter/guide rail with the two supplied attachment knobs.

* Pre Production units shown.  Design may differ slightly for final product.

Do you need to clamp guide rails and how many clamps should be used?

Most track saw users find it necessary to clamp the guide rail in place when making finish cuts on smooth or slick material (laminate, melamine, solid surface material, etc.). Clamping is also essential for very accurate cuts, and when cutting expensive or large workpieces.

When using a track saw for many common cuts, the non-slip foam on the bottom of most guide rails adequately holds the guide rail in place on many wood surfaces.

Dead-on straight cuts require the guide rail to be clamped in place.

Very long cuts may require clamping the guide rail in multiple places to ensure the guide rail does not deflect while cutting.

For accurate saw cuts without guide rail defection we recommend spacing the Betterley Guide Gripps not more than 5-6 feet apart on most materials.

Using a router rather than a saw increases the lateral force on the guide rail, the guide rail must be clamped in place to prevent deflection.

When using a router the lateral force on the guide rail varies greatly. Heavy router cuts (for example: Routing a 25” seam in solid surface material) requires the guide rail to be clamped very solid along the entire length of the cut. If the guide rail is only clamped on the ends of a heavy 25” cut the guide rail will deflect and the resulting cut will not be straight.

* TS75 Depth of cut will be limited to 2 5/8"
