The Betterly connector was easy and gave me a very straight cut result. Helps ensure no movement when flipping the rails to tighten the lower connectors. It's also a handy two foot straight edge reference for general shop purposes.

I've used this a couple times now and think it is exactly what I was looking for. Put it on, turn the locks and tighten the connectors. Best part is how solid the tracks are held together as you flip it over to tighten the bottom connectors.
Only method I've ever found to achieve easy perfect rail alignment.
