We bought this a while ago (6 months or so) and it has been a great tool! You just can't trust a factory edge of the laminates you get and this tool will make sure that, when two sheets butt up against each other, they match perfectly. The dust attachment is key to getting a nice, smooth joint. It's completely worth the price. I'm really looking forward to them adapting the tool to some newer router that aren't obsolete though (hint hint). If they could do the same thing for a cordless Makita, it would be great!

This worked out for us just like we had hoped. Not only did it work well, but it worked well for seams on a 4' dia. column.
When using the Underscribe Router both pieces of laminate are glued in place with one over-lapping the
other. The Underscribe guides off the bottom piece and cuts the over-lapping piece for a perfect fit.
When using the Seaming Router both pieces of laminate cannot be glued in place, one piece may be
glued and the other clamped, or both pieces are clamped in place with one piece over-lapping the other.
The Seaming Router cuts both pieces of laminate at the same time, leaving an 1/8” gap between the
pieces after cutting so one piece must be re-positioned.
